Rob Pruitt was born in Washington, DC, in 1964 and moved to New York in 1985. Solo exhibitions have been organized at the Cabinet Gallery, London, UK (2000) and Gavin Brown's Enterprise, New York (1999). His work has been featured in Group Exhibitions at the Glassbox, Paris, France (1999), Gavin Brown's Enterprise, New York (1998), Greene Naftali, New York (1998) and the 303 Gallery, New York (1997).
