    Belohorizonte, Brazil, in 1957 and moved to New York in 1992. Solo exhibitions have been
    organized at San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, California (1999) and at
    Galeria Camargo Vilaça, São Paulo, Brazil (1998). Her work has been included in group
    exhibitions at the XXII Bienal Internacional de São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil (1994), at
    SITE Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico (1995), at the Bienal de Johannesburg, Cape, South
    Africa (1997) and at the XXIV Bienal Internacional de São Paulo, São Paulo, Argentina.</font></td>
