I-Sound has been working in the fields of DJ
culture, free improvisation and electronic composition extensively for the last three
years. Since arriving in New York he has collaborated with a staggering number of
established musicians while also making a name for himself as a solo performer. With a
style that balances uncompromising experimentalism with healthy doses of populism, I-Sound
attempts to bridge the gaps between high and low, academy and street, chaos and structure.

“This work very simply consists of well-placed synthesizer elements and broken
electronic improvisation. The focus of the arrangement are the sounds generated from a
physically modified computer run through a series of what are normally mundane functions
of information processing. In its reworked state the computer produces strange and
interesting patterns to accompany these traditionally non-sonic actions.”
