Michael J. Schumacher

Michael J. Schumacher as born in 1961 in Washington, DC. Schumacher has composed over 70 works for all manner of instrument and voice. Since 1988 he has worked primarily with electronic media, specializing in computer generated sound environments.

His works have been performed in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has presented sound installations at The Kitchen, Experimental Intermedia, the Technical University in Berlin, La Monte Young and Marian Zazeela's Dream House, and at his own sound and intermedia gallery, Studio Five Beekman.
