Telectu

Telectu is a fundamental duo of new improvisation formed by Jorge Lima Bareto and Victor Rua. Since 1982 the group has developed and introduced different musical typologies: art rock, minimalism, live electronics, multi-media, acousmatic, concrete, and have linked their art to performance, video and installation.

They have worked and recorded with various exponents of contemporary improvisation, including Elliot Sharp, Chris Cutler, Jac Berrocal, Loui Sclavis, Jean Sarbib, Paul Lytton, Evan Parker, Carlos Zingaro, Tim Hodgkinson, Eddie Prevost, Sunny Murray among others. Telectu has performed and recorded at important international gatherings in Beijing, Paris, New York, Moscow, Spain, Hong Kong, Macao, Havana and Romania.
