        <p><font face="Arial" size="2">As morning inhales light<br>
        I exhale the sticky patterns<br>
        of my past, soon to become present.</font></p>
        <p><font face="Arial" size="2">Illuminated by stillness they hang,<br>
        pale strands of emotional DNA delicately<br>
        collecting my fears like fly paper,<br>
        quilting the air with whispers that <br>
        soon there will be no room for me<br>
        in the thickness of my thoughts.</font></p>
        <p><font face="Arial" size="2">Moving slowly towards the door <br>
        I hold my breath to stop the flow<br>
        and seek out a mirror to condense</font></p>
        <p><font face="Arial" size="2">my echoes into one moist spot<br>
        to be rubbed off and forgotten<br>
        until the next day&#146;s dawn...</font></p>
        <font face="Arial" size="2"><p></font><font face="Arial" size="1">Tina Seligman is a mixed
        media artist and writer who has shared her love for combining art disciplines through
        workshops and as a NYSCA Artist-in-Residence. She enjoys studying many forms of music and
        dance which often inspire her artwork. Tina&#146;s writing has appeared in art and
        literary publications, including Art Times, Magazine.art, The Moon as Text, Prayers to
        Protest, Pudding Magazine, Onionhead and Cicada Haiku Quarterly.</font></td>
