Where can I park?
There is street parking near P.S.1, however spaces are limited and towing regulations are strictly enforced. The closest parking garage, Court Square Municipal Parking Garage, is located at 45-40 Court Square, between Court Square East and Court Square West, approximately 500 feet south of Jackson Avenue behind Court House Community District # 2. Can I take photographs in the museum?
Still and video photography for personal use are not permitted in the museum. Credentialed members of the press (a media ID is required) may request a photography pass at the front desk. If press credentials are not present or available, inquiries should be directed to the Press Office at press@ps1.org or 718.786.3139 (Monday through Friday only). The outdoor courtyard is open for photography and video.
How can I submit my slides for review to the museum?
We have been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response to our National Special Projects program and are in the process of reviewing several hundred submissions. In order to review these existing proposals with due care, we are unable to accept Special Projects proposals until further notice.
Is it possible to rent P.S.1 for an upcoming special event?
P.S.1 is available for corporate rentals only. We do not rent for weddings or private receptions. We give preference to Tuesday and Wednesday night rentals. For complete guidelines please contact Sarah Scandiffio at sarahs@ps1.org and include as much detail about your proposed event as possible including: preferred rental dates, event timeline (including load in and load out information), number of attendees, space requirements, and technical requirements.
